Media coordinator
The Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy issues announces the need to employ a media coordinator to work at the center’s headquarters in Beitunia. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in journalism and media
Practical experience of not less than three years in the field of photography, montage, and production of flashes and short films
High ability to bring about positive change in equality issues through media and social networking sites
Experience in raising funds through digital fundraising
Great ability to write success stories, photograph them, and broadcast them on the center’s various social media sites
The ability to document the center’s work in producing short films or television spots
The ability to manage the center’s various social media sites, and the ability to manage the center’s electronic page.
Commitment to social justice, equal human rights, women's rights, and gender equality
Proficiency in Arabic and English and the ability to translate to a high degree, reading, writing and speaking
Experience in writing press reports and news in Arabic and English
Ability to work within a team and handle work pressure
Preparing to move between different governorates in the West Bank, in order to photograph events as they are possible.
The place of residence must be Ramallah or Al-Bireh
The work hours must be at the center’s headquarters in Beitunia
