Youth Bridges for Democratization and Participation

The Palestinian Center for Peace and Democracy (PCPD) started working on the "Youth Bridges for Democratization and Participation" project in partnership with PAX and GAC in the first half of 2023. The main goal of this project is to promote peace, security, and stability through the political participation of Palestinians in general and young women in particular. The project revolves around creating a strong understanding among Palestinian youth of the roles and responsibilities of local governments and their readiness to participate in elections and peacebuilding. It also aims to bridge the gap between the local government and citizens, enhance collaboration in setting standards and policies, and promote accountability and gender equality in collaboration with women-led civil society organizations.
