Educational techniques in Palestine in general lack analytic and creative thinking. Identified target groups have throughout their educational and often professional life been accustomed to receiving instructions, information, and orders without inquiry, analysis or review. Real democracy and democratic practices requires people respect each other’s opinions and appreciates discussion. Thus there is a need to develop the capacities of professionals who can support others in expressing their opinions and ideas.
Thus we believe it is necessary to:
- Enhance skills and development capacities of new graduates through training programs that offer access to scientific participatory methods for knowledge and skill empowerment.
- Alert the educational institutions to the importance of upgrading the educational system. In addition campaigns should exert pressure on decision makers in the educational sector in order to implement the necessary reforms.
- Maintain a continuous process of empowering and training PCPD Board and General Assembly, PCPD staff, volunteers and supporters to ensure a leading role in the political and democratic development processes.
