Under the Woman Program, PCPD celebrated the Woman Day, by demanding for the holding of elections to the local governments; PCPD celebrated the 8th March by holding a political session followed by a stand to demand the Government to fix a date for the elections of the local governments, in addition to enthusing women to have a wider participation in the upcoming elections; since we believe that women participation in the local governments is the gate to political empowerment of women. The activity was conducted with the coordination of the Women Labor Association in Jenin and with the participation of a big number of young women from Jenin and Nablus districts.  Two women leaders were hosted during the session to talk about their experiences in the local governments, and the importance of women participation in the electoral process.

Under the Peace program, PCPD is working to strength the Palestinians' support for non-violent approaches towards a just and lasting peace, and this is through engaging  in a baseline study thorough conducting 24 baseline sessions with at least 846 community members invited by 24 CBOs, where questionnaires are distributed, the project is presented and the engaged youth interested in participating are recruited through filling an application and going through an interview assessing their proven experience, skills and knowledge. This baseline is important due to the fact that it shows how the Palestinian youth view peace, non violence, resistance, armed struggle, negotiations, and political support to elections. The same questions will be answered with the same target group by the end of the project in November 2018.

This film was screened in Ramallah on the 27th February with the participation of more than one hundred youth from Ramallah region.
