Young women advocating for their political and economic rights
This project is within the Women Program at the PCPD and is regarded as a new persepective of using different Social Media; blogs, facebook and twitter, instagram and features to spread women rights between young women and their CSOs, identify their core needs and enroll in a capacity building program focusing on building leadership, lobbying and advocacy skills; equality between men and women; political and economical rights for women, and techniques for using the social media.
Following the training, the 15 female youth will design and implement advocacy campaigns and lobby for women rights in Palestine utilising a variety of media, with an emphasis on social media and features. The youth group in addition will create added value for their CSO's and communities through approaching the public opinion, the policy, and decision makers on issues related to gender equality.
